The chrome every nested repository view inherits. The title is --fj-size-7 at --fj-weight-normal: TYPE-5 says weight does hierarchy at small sizes and size does it at large ones, never both at once.

The accent pill says which ref the page is about, which is the accent's one meaning (COLOR-3). The plain pill says something true that is not the point.

mainread replicatab / current
aria-current="page", text to --fj-ink, and a --fj-marker underline in --fj-primary. It is a LOCATION, not a selection: STATE-PREC-3 requires it to stay distinguishable from the j/k cursor, which is carried by the rail and never by an underline.
tab / hover
Colour only. The marker is transparent at rest rather than absent, so the row of tabs does not shift by 2px when the current one changes.
tab / focus-visible
Tab into the bar. The ring is square-cornered and offset, and it is never replaced by the underline: a location cue is not a focus cue (AP-8).
pills
A pill carries a WORD, so its hue is redundant rather than load-bearing, which is what makes a coloured pill legal at all (COLOR-5). fj-pill--mod goes through the --fj-mod alias; see the README's spec-gap item 2 for why it is worth an operator's attention.

A repository name is an identifier and may have no break opportunity in it (DNA-1), so the title breaks anywhere rather than overflowing the column. The pills wrap onto the next line and keep their baseline.
